Battleship Galaxies is a space combat miniatures board game that is a distant cousin to the original Battleship game. The two opposing forces represented in the game, the human Intergalactic Space Navy and the alien Wretcheridians, are represented by 20 highly-detailed starship miniatures. There are figures for several different ship types and each has an individual reference card that defines the characteristics of that ship (e.g. weapons, movement, shields). The game is played on a star field hex board. The game is scenario driven and each scenario will define the goal of the game as well as initial board set-up. Each turn, players have a certain number of energy points that can be spent to perform actions, such as movement or fire. Combat is resolved by rolling special dice, a ten-sided die with letters and an eight-sided die with numbers. The resulting letter-number combination is compared to the target ship's reference card to determine the result. Hits on a ship are indicated by placing coloured pegs in the figure's base.

Includes two game boars, 20 highly detailed ships, playing cards, cordinate dice, pegs and a 48-page graphic novel!

  • The cost to deliver your order, no matter the size or weight, anywhere within Australia is $9.90 including packing & handling. Delivery Times

  • Australia is a large country geographically which means transit times can vary significantly from one location to the next. Deliveries can take anywhere between 1 to 10 days, or even more to places like Christmas Island and other similar remote areas. All orders are packed and despatched from our Derrimut (Melbourne-based) warehouse so if the order is urgent, please consider the distance your order is required to travel prior to order placement.

Same Day Despatch

  • For same-day despatch, orders must be placed and paid for prior to 12:00 pm (local Melbourne time or AEST). This excludes weekends, public holidays and peak periods during the October, November & December months.

Next-Day Delivery

  • Urgent, next-day* deliveries are offered to specific areas of Australia by Australia Post. Delivery areas that are covered by the Express Post Network can be can be viewed here. Order Collection/Pickup

  • Orders may be collected from our warehouse (located at 180 Calarco Drive, Derrimut Victoria). Please remember to select "Warehouse P/U" as your shipping method at the checkout. This is a free service and you can usually collect your order from our warehouse within about an hour.
