The cost to deliver your order, no matter the size or weight, anywhere within Australia is $14.99 including packing & handling. It's called a 'Flat-Rate' shipping fee, and it's the most you will pay for any size order, regardless of your geographical location within Australia. And the best part of all, it's a door-to-door service which not only affordable, but convenient too!
Delivery Times
Australia is a large country geographically which means transit times can vary significantly from one location to the next. Deliveries can take anywhere between 1 and 10 days, or even more to places like Christmas Island and other similar remote areas. All orders are packed and despatched from our Ravenhall (Melbourne-based) warehouse so if the order is urgent, please consider the distance your order is required to travel prior to order placement.
Same Day Despatch
For same-day despatch, orders must be placed and paid for prior to 12:00 pm (local Melbourne time or AEST). This excludes weekends, public holidays, and peak periods during the October, November & December months.
Next-Day Delivery
Urgent, next-day* deliveries are offered to specific areas of Australia by Australia Post. Delivery areas that are covered by the Express Post Network can be viewed here. Addresses situated outside of the Express Post network may still be ordered as 'Express Post' if quicker delivery times are needed, compared to standard shipping. * Please note that additional shipping fees will apply.
Order Collection/Pickup
Orders may be collected from our warehouse (located at 2/65 Eucumbene Dr, Ravenhall Victoria). Please remember to select "Warehouse P/U" as your shipping method at the checkout. This is a free service, and you can usually collect your order from our warehouse within about an hour.
Return Policy
This drinking bird is amazing! Just when you think it wouldn't bob anymore, it just keeps going! The drinking bird brought me and my husband together - his eyes met my drinking bird from across the room (it was perched on my cocktail glass) and we susequently talked for hours. A year later, and we're happily married. We had drinking birds on all of the glasses at our wedding reception, and our guests could not have been more thrilled!!
Do yourself a favour and buy a drinking bird!!!!
I bought this Crazy Harry Drinking Bird out of curiosity more than anything else. I had never seen this 'bird' before so I had no idea if it would work as described or not. So I opened the pack, poured water into the glass, dipped its head into the water and watched. The red liquid inside 'magically' began to rise like a thermometer and once it reached a certain height, the weight distribution made the head heavier than the tail causing the Crazy Drinking Bird to dip its beak into the water. The liquid then moved back into the tail causing the bird to tilt back vertically and the whole thing slowly repeated itself over and over. And it's true, so long as there is water in the glass, the bird will never stop doing this which is simply amazing! I now have this bird sitting in my office so whenever anyone enters the room, it usually ends up being a great 'ice' breaker to any conversation. The water will eventually evaporate so you will need to refill the glass from time to time.
These things are terrific! I had one of these birds in my office not too long ago but found it missing after going on leave. I guess you can't trust anyone these days especially when you have one of these Crazy Birds around the place. So now I'll just have to buy another one but I will NOT be taking it to work any more!
I too was a little sceptical at first. Now, having seen it work, I can safely say that it does do what is claimed. And in case you were wondering how much water this bird drinks, it really doesn't drink any water at all. I think the reason why it dips its head into the water is to help change the temperature so the red liquid can react to it. It’s a great little novelty toy. I love it.
