If your child likes solving puzzles then this is a good product for them. This is great for 8 years and older. You have to try and get three of the same colours but some people try to get the sane of the whole colour but some people can solve all the colours in 20 seconds or less. I have one and I solved all the yellows and whites. There are all different types of shapes and sizes even key rings.
We bought a Rubik's Cube when it first came out and was all the rage in the 80's. We still have it today and it works perfectly. The only unfortunate thing about the cube is that no-one in our household has ever managed to solve more than one colour, even after all these years (maybe we're just not terribly bright). But if you're thinking on buying one, this is the one to get (cheap copies don't turn too well apparently).
